The story so far
Twenty years of finding the story inside the technology.
I've spent twenty years helping people understand technology. First by explaining it myself, and then by helping others do it far better than I ever could.
I started as a Developer Advocate at Microsoft, giving demos in Steve Ballmer's and Scott Guthrie's keynotes and working alongside Scott Hanselman. I went on to become Director of Developer Relations at Oracle, then returned to advocacy at AWS, picking up over 300 talks around the world along the way. My laptop has seen some airports.
Five years ago I moved behind the curtain as a Principal Keynote Lead, and for the past year I've been the Lead Content Producer in the Office of the CTO at Amazon, leading Werner Vogels' re:Invent keynotes, writing the films that open them, and producing the documentary series that runs beyond the stage.
The work is always the same underneath: find the story inside the technology, then build the moment where an audience actually feels it.
Working on something for the stage?
Keynotes, films and executive storytelling. If you have a moment coming up that needs to land, I'd love to hear about it.
